Every single one of us has a friend who talks trash about those who are crushing it online.
Some of it is justified, but most of it is just jealousy.
Through their eyes they are the “better coach” or “more intelligent trainer” so when they see others whom they perceive to be less intelligent or less aware of the best methods for physique transformation and health enhancement they think it’s an injustice.
“His/Her programs aren’t even close to as good as mine, if I created a system like that people would get way better results and I’d be an Instagram millionaire too”
This thought process is pathetic, stupid, and completely delusional (tell us what you really think Dan!).
Thinking you’re a better coach has nothing to do with BEING a better coach.
Guess what, that person you’re hating on has likely positively influenced literally millions of more people than you.
It’s not what you say that matters, it’s what you actually do.
You can plan and talk all you want, but that will get you absolutely nowhere if that’s all you do.
Think you have a great idea for an online training or nutrition program?
Then actually create the damn thing and try to sell it. Let’s see what people are willing to pay for it.
If it’s your first go-around in the online world…Not much is likely going to be the answer for what people are willing to pay for your product.
Until you start taking action on what you say you’re going to do, your “brilliance” is just an idea, and everybody has a few of those. This doesn’t make you special, in fact, it makes you just like everyone else even though you’re putting yourself on a pedestal while talking down to those who are actually taking action.
It’s time for you to start doing what you say you’re going to do — my first products I put out online, they are CRINGE worthy to look at now.
It makes me laugh just thinking about it, but you know what?
At least I took action.
And since I took action I was able to learn from the experience.
And since I learned from the experience I was able to continue to progress and eventually make it to where I am today.
So my advice to you is:
- Stop talking about doing stuff.
- Start actually doing stuff.
- Act fast, speed is key.
- Your first program does not have to be perfect, it can be far from it.
- You don’t need to reinvent the wheel to get a business started, just start.
At the end of the day, when you’re new at something, you just have to start creating. The most important piece of the puzzle towards creativity and mastery is just starting.
So, grab a pen and paper (or whatever you whipper-snappers are writing on these days) and start creating your first product today.
Not planning, creating.
Ideas are everywhere. The original pitch of a business is such a small aspect that it’s borderline negligible.
The real magic is in execution, and that’s what these “dumb Instagram trainers” are kicking your ass in.
